Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

• Assisting with surgery, dentistry, and anesthesia monitoring
• Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory diagnostics
• Collecting patient histories and maintaining accurate medical records
• Educating pet parents on treatment plans and preventive care
• Practicing Fear Free, low-stress patient handling
• Supporting and mentoring Veterinary Assistants while fostering a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Current Florida LVT, RVT, or CVT license
• Experience with surgery, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, venipuncture, and diagnostics
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A passion for Fear Free medicine and exceptional client service
• Comfort using veterinary technology and electronic medical records
