About the role
We're seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician who is passionate about animal care and eager to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional medical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care from check-in to discharge.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical and dental procedures.
- Collect lab samples, run diagnostics, and perform treatments.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and fluid therapy as directed by veterinarians.
- Educate pet parents about medications, preventive care, nutrition, and recovery plans.
- Build relationships with clients and support their emotional needs.
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Jump in wherever needed to support the team.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree).
- Current CVT, RVT, or LVT credentials (or eligibility for licensing).
- Successful completion of the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).
- Experience in a veterinary setting (general practice, ER, or specialty experience is a plus).
- Strong technical skills and confidence working with various sized patients.
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and teammates.
- A positive attitude and ability to handle busy days calmly.
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- A passion for learning and continuous skill development.
