About the role

We are hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team in Maple Grove. The pay range for this role is $23.11 - $33.38 per hour. Banfield is a leading general veterinary care practice in America, dedicated to providing high-quality preventive care and treatment for pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide furry, feathered, and scaled pets with the best possible care, especially preventive care
• Upon approval from supervising veterinarian, perform veterinary technician appointments
• All appointments must be under the direction and supervision of veterinarian and in compliance with state law
• Build close relationships with pets and the humans who love them
• Work closely with teammates and cultivate a positive, dynamic work culture
• Impact the future of veterinary medicine with your own expertise and ways of practicing medicine

Requirements

We are looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician with diverse perspectives, ideas, and cultures who can use their expertise to benefit pets, clients, teams, and communities. We welcome recent graduates or experienced technicians seeking a new start at Banfield.

Qualifications

• A degree in Veterinary Technology or a related field
• Current certification as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
• Experience in veterinary settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for veterinary medicine and animal welfare
