Certified Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

About the role

Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Certified Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Egg Harbor Twp Office. We specialize in continuity of care for our patients and are excited to add Vascular to our growing list of specialties. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosis and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Test blood flow throughout the vein and arterial system of the body.
• Perform requested vascular studies to determine the level of disease.
• Perform Venous Reflux studies.
• Perform Venous Duplex studies of the Upper & Lower Extremities.
• Perform ABI/PVR (Ankle Brachial Index/Pulse Volume Recording).
• Perform Arterial Duplex studies of the Upper & Lower Extremities.
• Perform Carotid Doppler studies.
• Perform Aorto-Iliac Duplex studies.
• Keep the lab stocked and organized, including cleaning and refilling gel bottles, stocking linens and supplies, and removing soiled linens daily.
• Monitor vascular testing equipment for any issues.
• Greet patients and collect medical history.
• Answer patient questions to the best of your ability and knowledge.
• Report critical findings to Providers immediately.
• Walk patients to the front office after studies are completed.
• Maintain knowledge of the in-office EMR system – Athena.
• Answer office phones if needed.
• Report supply needs to the Practice Manager.
• Keep the area and lab clean and presentable.
• Maintain required licensure or certification, including BLS Certification and CME requirements.
• Cover organizational dues, if required, to maintain licensure or certification.

Requirements

• AA or equivalent from a two-year college or accredited vascular technical school.
• Registered Vascular Technology License or Certification.
• 2 or more years of experience in a hospital or vascular lab setting.

Pay

$45–49 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

40 hours per week, full-time.
