Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

About the role

ECU Health Physicians is a multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive and non‑invasive ultrasound procedures.
• Conduct doppler vascular examinations.
• Perform deep abdominal studies.
• Perform color‑flow ultrasound as required.
• Assist with performing ultrasound‑guided endovenous ablations on lower extremities of patients with reduced blood flow.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 1‑2 years of formal training/education (or higher).
• 1‑3 years of experience in an ambulatory or hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with ARDMS or Registered Vascular Sonographer with CCI.
• Eligible to obtain ARRT certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support/CPR (BLS) certification.

Skills

• Ability to perform venous insufficiency scanning.

Pay

$33.08 – $48.22 per hour

• Primary shift: Day, Monday‑Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• On‑call: No
