Job Responsibilities
Prepares lesson content and instructional activities to improve students’ content knowledge, mastery of skills and to increase overall content knowledge.
Engages in best practices to deliver instructional content – specific lessons and instruction to students at multiple education sites by means of established instructional delivery platforms, in the least restrictive environment in accordance with state and federal regulations, demonstrating technology proficiency in using district-endorsed instructional applications.
Establishes clear communication with students, site facilitators, and all personnel.
Advances the mission and vision of the School District and the Agency.
Displays professionalism and leadership by following established school, agency, state and federal policies and procedures.
Performs related duties as required.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
- Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Must be certified or eligible to be certified within the subject area by the State Department of Education.
- Must possess S.C. teacher certification.
- Has knowledge of the laws, ordinances, standards and regulations pertaining to the specific duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Able to comprehend, interpret and apply regulations, procedures and related information.
- Knowledge of the principles of planning and implementing lesson plans.
- Limited overnight travel.
Training
Training applicable to these duties will be provided.
