Certified Teacher
About the role
Huntington Learning Center of Springfield is urgently seeking certified teachers to join their team. The position is part-time and offers flexible scheduling options including daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Positions are available for teachers of all subjects at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as for those preparing students for SAT and ACT exams.
Responsibilities
- Work with students 1:1 or in small groups to help them improve academic performance and develop study skills.
- Provide instruction in various subjects including reading, writing, math, science, and study skills.
- Offer test preparation programs for standardized tests such as SAT, ACT, Keystone Exams, ASVAB, and high school entrance exams.
Requirements
- Valid teaching certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with students in a one-on-one or group setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Qualifications
- Retired teachers and recent college graduates are welcome to apply.
