About the Role

Join Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center as a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist and be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering newborns safely with the highest standards of care. You will prepare the surgical suite, support the team during procedures, and ensure compassionate patient care. Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Work closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (ST) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
