Job Summary

This position will primarily cover Sunday and Tuesday nights.

About the Role

Join St. David's Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, as a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist in Labor and Delivery. You'll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering newborns safely and with the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping to maintain comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Work closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (CST).
• Certified Surgical Technologist, or Associate Degree, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree.
• One year of Certified Surgical Technologist experience in Labor and Delivery - required.
