About the role

Brunswick and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team. This position offers a 10k sign-on bonus and includes a Magnet Designated with Distinction, first in Massachusetts to use Black Box technology, 16 operating rooms, and 1,000 cases per month.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures
• Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities
• Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses, and students

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Surgical Technician Certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred

Qualifications

• Must present and submit Certification of Graduation, as follows:
• - ARC/STSA-Accredited Surgical Technology Program
• - NBSTSA- Certification is conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting

Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards. Basic computer skills.
