Certified Surgical Technician - Casual Call

About the role

Work casual/on-call – pick up shifts as the department needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards.
• Assist RN in performing circulating duties as directed.
• Performs primarily in the scrub role preparing, selecting maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date (not needed until 2 years after start date)
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross
