Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
• Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
• Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
• Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
• Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
• Tracking surgical supplies.
• Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
• Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.
• Helping provide great patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified ST AND BLS
• Flexible start and end times
• Call: based on department needs (usually 1 shift during the week day and 1 weekend a month), Holidays are covered by call
• 2 years OR experience, strong ortho, robotics and trauma preferred
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
