Certified Surgical Tech (Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Tech to join our Main OR team in La Crosse, WI!

Responsibilities

• Work 36 hours/week
• Shift: 9hr shifts (primarily days) Monday - Friday
• Night and weekend call rotation. Call response time is 60 minutes or less.
• Holiday Rotation: 1-2 holidays per year
• Assists physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards.
• Aid RN in performing circulating duties as directed.
• Performs primarily in the scrub role preparing, selecting, maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date. This is not needed until 2 years AFTER start date.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
