Surgical Technician - Certified- Full time

Job Duties

• Assists in procedures competently and professionally
• Ensures appropriate handling and maintenance of equipment and supplies
• Ensures availability of equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
• Scrubs for surgical procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned by the registered nurse (RN)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accepted course in surgical technology certification
• Work experience: None preferred: 1 year of experience in a similar medical setting
• Certification: Certification in Surgical Technology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association

• Good organizational skills
• Good time management skills and ability to be self-directed
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement
