Surgical Tech Full Time

About the role

We are seeking a Full Time Surgical Tech at Northwest Surgical Hospital, offering a $5,000 sign on bonus. This position is part of a dedicated, compassionate team committed to excellence and service.

Responsibilities

• Performs the scrub role and maintains a safe sterile environment
• Prepares, passes, holds, inserts, removes, cleans and assembles instruments, equipment and supplies
• Counts sponges, needles, sharps and instruments
• Aids the RN with delegated circulating duties, transports, positions, skin preps and specimen preparation
• Works as a team member within the entire facility
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required
• Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology preferred
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• AHA BLS healthcare certification required within 30 days of hire
