About the Role

The Certified Surgical Technologist II prepares sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures, assists with direct patient care, and performs room duties as part of the operating room team. They demonstrate advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills while following established procedural guidelines to ensure patient safety, maintain sterile environments, and provide appropriate care based on patient development levels and family needs. This role operates autonomously and collaborates with healthcare professionals to support surgical operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist with direct patient care in the operating room.
• Perform room duties as part of the operating room team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or military surgical tech program.
• Minimum of two years' operating room (OR) experience.
• Credentialed as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Current BLS certification.
