About the Role
Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Ensures the operating suite is adequately prepared for procedures. Maintains clean, sterilized, and functional instruments. Assists anesthesiologist with blocks for surgery. Participates in department staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
Requirements
- College, military, or vocational training required.
- 1 to 2 years of job-related experience is preferred.
- Certified Surgical Technology recognized by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- BLS certification required.
