Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining the sterile field under supervision.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the procedure and supports surgical team needs.
• Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Scrubs, gowns, and gloves appropriately.
• Sets up sterile tables with instruments and supplies under guidance.
• Performs instrument and sponge counts with the circulator.
• Passes instruments during surgery.
• Aids in cleaning and preparing instruments for sterilization.
• Supports terminal cleaning of rooms and preparation for the next procedure.
• May retrieve and transport medications (no preparation or administration).

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• NCCT‑TS‑C (Tech in Surgery‑Certified) OR AST‑CST (Certified Surgical Tech).
• May consider a non‑certified tech who has completed a surgical technology program or has at least 1 year of scrub experience.

Pay

Eligible for a sign‑on bonus up to $10,000.
