Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

About the role

This role involves assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures, preparing the endoscopic suite, and ensuring sterilization and functionality of instruments. You will evaluate patient needs, identify deviations, and prioritize issues based on clinical data while adhering to standards of care and making scope-of-practice decisions.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to clinical standards and scope of practice
• Utilize resources effectively and manage time efficiently
• Adjust procedures based on age-specific requirements

Requirements

• Basic policy knowledge and solid clinical skills
• Ability to recognize changes in patient condition and adapt care accordingly
• Some college or vocational training
• BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire
• Surgical technology certification or equivalent experience

Qualifications

Preferred candidates have 1-2 years of related experience.
