What You Will Do (Job Summary)
- Functions as a First Assistant during surgical incision, excision, and repair of pathology and throughout the perioperative period on procedures for which privileges have been granted.
- Supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Functions as a Surgical Tech on days that a Surgical First Assistant is not needed.

Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of Surgical Technician training program. Certification required by state.
- Completion of a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) program
- 2+ years Surgical Technician experience. Experience should include orthopedic and general procedures.
- CPR and ACLS accredited by AHA required
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
- Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
