Responsibilities

• Provides direct assistance to the surgeon(s) during surgical procedures.
• Positions patients to give best exposure for surgical procedures, using stabilizing equipment, when necessary, while maximizing patient comfort and safety.
• Provides visualization of the operative site using appropriate methods, including manipulation of tissue and materials, retraction, sponging, suctioning, and irrigation.
• Utilizes appropriate techniques to achieve temporary and permanent hemostasis.
• Aids in body plane closure, application of wound dressings, and securing of drainage systems.

Requirements

• Current Arizona Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) with the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• Graduate of a Program in Discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of CSFA experience required.

• Associate's Degree Preferred.

Pay

$15,000 Sign on Bonus (3 yr commitment)

Schedule

5x8, Day (6:30 am - 3:00 pm), Monday - Friday

Additional Information

Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
