Certified Surg Tech – Full Time - $5K Sign On

About the role

Expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. Ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the operating room for surgery
  • Ensure proper sterilization of equipment
  • Provide support to the surgical team
  • Assist with patient care and comfort

Requirements

  • Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • 1 year experience preferred as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
  • 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment for CVOR positions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)

Benefits

  • Relocation assistance typically $5,000
  • Student Loan Repayment: paid out in monthly installments, approximately $5,000 per year, max benefit amount of $20,000
