Job Summary

• Cert Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician, Certified Surgical Technologist, or Certified Registered Central Service Technician certification within 1 year of employment start date

Responsibilities

As a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician, you will:

• Keep surgical instruments and supplies clean, reliable, and ready for patient care
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, recording details of sterilization cycles, safety checks, and quality standards
• Prepare surgical sets and case carts, ensuring proper instruments and supplies are gathered for each procedure
• Manage inventory, organize supplies in OR storage areas, and collaborate with the surgical team to optimize surgery runs
• Lead and train the Sterile Processing team, sharing updates on new equipment and processes, and setting a positive example for a safe, high-quality environment
