Certified Service Technicians

About the role

Findlay is one of the largest & fastest growing automotive groups in Southwest U.S. We're seeking experienced, journeyman Technicians to support our booming service business. We understand the great demand for veterans in this industry. We are currently looking to add certified Kia or Hyundai Technicians immediately.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform the work specified on the repair order in accordance with dealership standards and procedures.
• Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using advanced diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
• Maintain clear and direct communication with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing accurate time estimates for such repairs.
• Carry out warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications and quality guidelines to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of or possession of relevant automotive certifications and prior experience working at an automotive dealership.
• Preference given to candidates with specific experience working on Kia and/or Hyundai vehicles.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Must provide own tools necessary for service technician duties.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and current automobile insurance coverage.
• Clean driving record with no violations that would affect insurability.
• Experience with CDK and AutoLive dealership software systems is considered an advantage.
