About the role
Provides respiratory care by applying critical thinking skills as a licensed Respiratory Therapist, demonstrating competency through NBRC certification (CRT).
Responsibilities
- Assess and develop individualized patient care plans
- Implement and evaluate treatment strategies
- Administer prescribed medications
- Educate patients, families, and significant others on health matters
- Participate in initiatives to improve healthcare delivery
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members
- Provide clinical leadership and support lifelong learning
- Complete assigned goals efficiently
Qualifications
- Current state license
- Minimum one year hospital experience (preferred)
- CRT certification required
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire
- ACLS preferred
- Basic computer skills using Windows and Microsoft Office
- Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation
