Job Summary

Performs various respiratory therapy services in accordance with departmental policy and procedure to insure therapeutic or diagnostic procedures prescribed by physicians are carried out in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated skill with office machines, computer, hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and patient therapeutic equipment/machines etc.
  • Provides direct care to assigned patients, maintains patient privacy and confidentiality of information at all times.
  • Demonstrates the ability to assess patients understanding of and compliance with instructions.
  • Maintains stocked supplies and gas cylinders.
  • Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Education: Completed Associate Degree from a CoARC accredited school for certified eligible Respiratory Therapist.
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • - Current Certified Respiratory Therapist license with ABG Analyst endorsement from the State of Tennessee or work permit.
    • - NBRC CRT credential
    • - BLS
    • - ACLS
    • - PALS
    • (For Bartlett Hires - NRP-NICU CRT; NRP CRT)
