Responsibilities

• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patients for the appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care based on a diagnosis in the ICU, ER, and general floors.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans using decisive judgement.
• Maintain and communicate patient conditions to the team and perform advanced Respiratory Care procedures.
• Evaluate patient therapy; administer medications and treatments based on the patient outcome.
• Provide education to patients and families about their health condition.
• Respond to rapid responses and code blue situations.
• Work in a stressful environment and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Current Michigan license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NRP and PALS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience.
