About the role
Join the dedicated respiratory care team at Prime Healthcare Resurrection Medical Center and help provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This is a temporary 12-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Schedule
- Full-Time Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating weekends
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director/manager.
- Assess, plan, implement, and document care with consideration of age and population-specific needs.
- In the absence of a supervisor, may serve as Lead RCP, responsible for the section or department during their shift.
Requirements
- Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire and maintain current.
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA or ARC within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
- Two (2) years of acute care experience required.
Pay
A flat rate of $50/hr. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
