About the role
Provides respiratory care utilizing critical thinking skills as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), demonstrating expertise through NBRC certification. Offers compassionate patient care to facilitate healing and health improvement. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patients and develops, implements, and evaluates care plans
- Administers prescribed medications
- Provides health education to patients, families, and caregivers
- Participates in initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery
- Communicates and collaborates with healthcare team members
- Provides clinical leadership and supports ongoing learning
- Completes assigned goals effectively
Qualifications & Skills
- Current state license and NBRC CRT credential
- Recent clinical respiratory care experience
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred
- Successful completion of entry-level RCP exam; ABG endorsement if applicable
