Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

About the role

Provides anesthesia care across various patient acuity levels and settings, including surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-operative patient assessments and develops care plans
• Establishes and maintains venous access and airway management
• Induces, monitors, and maintains anesthesia; manages emergence from anesthesia
• Transfers patient care post-procedure and conducts post-operative follow-up
• Serves as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students

Qualifications

• Active license as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Registered Nurse (RN) in the practice state
• Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
• Ability to perform essential functions, including effective communication, visual acuity, and teamwork
