About the role
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking passionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join the established team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL. The cohesive group emphasizes collaboration, communication, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a diverse mix of cases including Cardiac, Orthopedic, General Surgery, Endoscopy, Neurosurgery, Spine, Vascular, and Robotics
- Practice at the top of license with autonomy, including performing regional blocks, managing airways, and placing lines
- Cover 10 operating rooms plus Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Endoscopy
Qualifications
- Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
- Proficiency in performing blocks, airway management, and line placement
- Cardiac anesthesia proficiency eligible for an additional $15K stipend
Schedule
- Flexible shift options including 8-, 10-, and 12-hour schedules
- Beeper call coverage: one weekday late-case coverage per week and one 48-hour weekend beeper shift every 1.5 months
- Call-ins are limited to emergent cases only, with a physician always on site
- Premium pay rate for working past scheduled shift or picking up extra shifts

- Tiered base salary
