Certified Recovery Specialist
Position Title and Overview
The Certified Recovery Specialist/Certified Family Recovery Specialist position at Auberle is dedicated to providing peer support and fostering trust and understanding with clients and families. Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing personal experience with addiction to offer hands-on support in developing essential life skills.
- Leading and facilitating recovery-focused group sessions to educate, provide peer support, and offer coping strategies.
- Aiding clients and families by obtaining supplies, coordinating transportation, and ensuring apartments are prepared for new arrivals.
- Advocating for clients' needs, helping navigate community resources, and promoting positive reintegration into the community.
Location and Travel Requirements
This position is primarily located in Mt. Oliver. All positions are expected to come to training, meetings, and other events at Main Campus in McKeesport, as scheduled. The travel required for this position is minimal.
Position Requirements
- Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Valid PA driver's license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance.
- Requires working varied hours, including evenings, some weekends and holidays.
