Certified Police Officer - Hospital
Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- You must be an active police officer not retired.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A Police ID, VPEC, and Firearm certification.
- North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement certification is required.
- Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Attend required periodic training sessions and seminars.
- Maintain required level of proficiency in the use of firearms.
Responsibilities
- Performs general law enforcement duties including patrolling hospital campus, checking property, conducting room searches, maintaining order and public safety.
- Issues traffic and parking citations; apprehends, questions and arrests suspects; collects and preserves evidence; conducts investigations; responds to and assists in all medical emergencies; assists in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildings; provides security escorts for personnel; and chauffeurs division heads and visitors as requested.
- Perform other duties as required to meet the client’s needs.

- Police Officers who successfully complete all contractual requirements and secure an active position will receive a $2,000 hiring bonus.
- On your first anniversary, you’ll earn an additional $2,000 bonus.
- Began with your second anniversary and every year after, you’ll receive a $4,000 annual bonus as a continued reward for your service and dedication.
Pay
$37.50 / Hour
Schedule
Full Time, Part Time, Weekend Only and on call work available.
