Certified Pilates Instructor – Tempe

About the role

We are currently hiring Certified Pilates Instructors for our Tempe-area studios. The ideal candidate will be positive and enthusiastic, passionate about supporting our team and community.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards
• Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class, while using a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu Ball, Magic Circle, etc.
• Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level appropriate
• Uphold our core values to ensure a positive studio culture that is inclusive and encouraging
• Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, private events, and other additional sessions as needed
• Inspect the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
• Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment
• Aid in membership sales and checking clients in
• Participate in special events as needed to promote the studio
• Build studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales, events, and services by delivering the “Message of the Week” after every class

Requirements

• Current Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus)
• Experience teaching group classes
• Ability to demonstrate effective group Pilates instruction
• Energetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching style
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
• Punctual, reliable, and dedicated
• Focus on exceptional customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team
• Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment
