Certified Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter new medication orders into the pharmacy software
• Process refill requests, medication changes, and new admissions promptly
• Review orders for completeness and communicate with nurses and providers when clarification is needed
• Maintain accurate patient medication profiles
• Prioritize urgent medication orders to support patient care
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses, and faculty staff
• Follow all state and federal pharmacy regulations, HIPAA requirements, and company policies
• Help maintain an organized, efficient workflow while contributing to a positive work environment

Requirements

• Current Pharmacy Technician registration/certification (as required per state law)
• Pharmacy experience
• Excellent computer and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Dependable attendance and willingness to support teammates where needed
