Certified Pharmacy Technician

About the role

The role involves providing pharmaceutical support in a healthcare setting, including medication management and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and according to prescribed protocols.
• Assist patients with understanding their medication regimens and side effects.
• Ensure all medications are stored properly and within expiration dates.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on new medications and protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field.
• Current license to practice pharmacy.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficient in electronic health records systems.
• Knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions.
