About the role
We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract job where your expertise will directly support pharmacists in delivering exceptional care. In this position, you'll play a vital part in ensuring patients receive the medications they need—by assembling, stocking, and distributing them with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Stock and organize medication storage areas
- Prepare medications according to prescriptions and guidelines
- Communicate with patients regarding their medications and any concerns
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and hospital policies
Requirements
- State License to Apply
- Prior Pharmacy Experience
- PTCB Certification Preferred
- Hospital Experience Required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in computer systems used in pharmacies
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and practices

Schedule
Shift Hours: 8:00 PM - 8:30 AM
Orientation
Includes a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor
