Responsibilities

• Use peer-support principles and lived experience to support recovery, independence, and connection.
• Build authentic, recovery-focused relationships.
• Use lived experience appropriately to promote hope and recovery.
• Help clients identify strengths, goals, and natural supports.
• Encourage self-advocacy, confidence, independence, and community involvement.
• Connect clients with appropriate community resources.
• Support wellness routines and approved recovery-oriented activities.
