About the role
This is a multi-employer, part-time, W-2 role encompassing responsibilities across four affiliated organizations under shared leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide peer-based support, mentorship, and recovery planning assistance.
- Support clients in developing life skills, navigating community resources, and maintaining wellness.
- Conduct regular on-site safety checks, medication management, and documentation.
- Aid in resident engagement, crisis response, and coordination with clinical staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices.
- Support program operations, including safety drills, property maintenance, and resident meetings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (additional education preferred).
- Valid Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential.
- Personal lived experience with recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to pass background checks, obtain CPR/First Aid certification, and complete onboarding.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
