The Peer Recovery Coach II engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members to assist them in exploring, creating, and meeting their recovery goals. They also coach and guide other Peer Support professionals and provide peer services supervision in collaboration with the clinical supervisor. Additionally, they provide peer services consultation to program leadership and other staff, deliver educational supervision groups, and respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills.

What You Bring To The Table (Must Have)

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA obtained within 120 days of hire and maintained throughout employment
• Two (2) years or part-time equivalent of experience supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
• Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training
• A valid and current driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.

Pay

Expected starting wage range is $21.49 - $26.25. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Full-Time | 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM | Tuesday - Saturday
