Responsibilities

• Assists Student Success staff in a variety of student services areas.
• Provides assistance and encouragement to all students.
• Refers students to appropriate college service area when necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at one of the ACD colleges or another accredited institution of higher education after attending or graduating from an ACD college.
• Must complete badges related to this position as determined by the Alamo Colleges.
• Must complete Peer Advisor Certification training, as assigned, within the first year of employment.

Schedule

• Hours per week: 19.
• Typical schedule: M‑F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with outside working hours M‑F 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (sometimes until midnight) and occasional Saturdays.
