About the role

The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and delegated procedures under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment that promotes patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Supporting patient needs
• Maintaining a safe environment
• Performing select procedures as delegated

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-approved PCT program
• Current BLS certification
• National certification as a Patient Care Technician from recognized agencies
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Six months of PCT experience in acute care (preferred)
• Phlebotomy experience (preferred)
