About the role

The Certified Patient Care Technician, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients' activities of daily living and supports the overall plan of care. This role involves direct communication with and support for the healthcare team, patients, and their families or significant others.

Responsibilities

• Able to complete phlebotomy and EKG training if not a part of the core curriculum of the certification course within 90 days of hire- will be offered through the organization
• Supports the healthcare team in providing quality patient care
• Maintains high standards of professional ethics

Requirements

• Education Requirements: Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training
• Certification Requirements: CPCT-A Required
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS CPR (Basic Life Support) Certification required
