About the role

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Primary Care Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team and service our Marietta patients. As a valuable member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed physical therapists in delivering exceptional care to our patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in providing care to patients in their homes within the designated service area.
  • Complete visits in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document patient interactions and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Previous experience in home health or a similar setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • CPR certification.

Qualifications

Pay

This is a full-time, salary-based position.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday (8:00AM-5:00PM)
  • Monday-Sunday (7:00AM-7:00PM)
  • 7days on, 7 days off
