About the role

Deliver occupational therapy to patients, supporting their physical recovery while adhering to legal and professional guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws and the treatment plan set by the supervising OT.
• Instruct and assist patients with evidence-based therapy techniques.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members on therapy practices.
• Work effectively in diverse home settings, respecting all individuals.

Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to public transportation.

Skills

• Preferred skills include CPR certification, multitasking, independence, and strong communication and organizational abilities.
