Key Responsibilities
- Execute therapeutic plans designed to help patients.
- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment.
- Guide patients through exercises.
- Engage patients in activities that are crucial to their recovery and improvement.
- Monitor and document the progress of patients.
- Report changes in the patient's performance and behavior to the occupational therapist.
- Adjust therapy interventions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Educate patients and their families about the therapy process, the use of adaptive equipment, and home modifications.
Requirements
- Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current license/certification in the state of practice.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and its proper use.
