Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) -PRN/On Call

Newberry Health, a 90-bed acute-care independent not-for-profit hospital in Newberry County, SC, is seeking a per-diem Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team. The role is primarily outpatient pediatric therapy based, with additional opportunities in adult outpatient clinics.

About the role

Under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, the COTA plans, organizes, implements, and documents an occupational-therapy program tailored to individual patients. All treatment media, approaches, and techniques will be population-specific.

Requirements

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in South Carolina
• BLS certification required (must obtain within 60 days of employment)
• Prior COTA experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
