Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA Part Time MWF
Vibra Hospital of Sacramento, located in Folsom, CA, is a 58-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you get to know your patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide and direct Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation.
- Handle related documentation and communication.
- Function under physician’s orders.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
