Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Responsibilities

• Aid Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized pediatric treatment plans.
• Provide engaging therapy activities that promote sensory, motor, cognitive, and developmental skills.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor patient progress.
• Educate families on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Foster a fun, encouraging, and child-focused therapy environment.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
• North Dakota COTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Pediatric therapy experience.
• Experience working with children with developmental, sensory, or motor delays.
