Job Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation and execution of personalized patient care plans.
- Conduct therapeutic activities under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist.
- Monitor and record patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising OT.
- Instruct patients and families on treatment plans and the use of therapeutic equipment.
- Support patients in enhancing their cognitive, physical, and emotional capabilities.
- Adjust treatment plans collaboratively with the Occupational Therapist as necessary.
- Inform patients and families about daily routines and rehabilitation activities.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Completed an accredited Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- NBCOT certification obtained.
- Current state licensure/certification required.
- One to two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in nursing homes or skilled nursing facilities.

- Ability to tailor care to diverse patient needs and environments.
- Proficiency with occupational therapy tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Familiarity with SigmaCare and Net Health.
